After hitting just under 200lbs. first year of college, I knew I had to make a change. I lost 50lbs, got down to 146 but have put a little back on. My goal now is to fight off the remaining fat and switch it to lean muscle, tone up, get abs, and improve my running!

Hey,

Hows it going?

Thought I'd check in and see how those squats are going? Still hitting them hard?

P.S.... if you gain some muscle you will gain weight, so don't be shocked. Even though you've gained weight, take note that it isn't fat, which is the important thing :D

Don't worry you'll be able to get abs. Just do crunches! Do say 15 or so, and do more reps. People think the more crunches they can do the better, but it is actually better to do an easy amount more OFTEN :D Remember to have a few days break between weights/muscle training. You don't want to get injured. :) Keep up the great work!

Hey man, I had virtually the same experience after my first year in college. It has taken me another year to get motivated and get out of the depression rut. Good luck to you man, and keep up the good work.
